Awards include Leitrim County Council Artist's Bursary Award (2007 / 10 / 12 ), Milliken Bros. Art Materials Award (2000), Iontas painting award (2001), Irish Arts Council / An Chomairle Ealionn Grant awards (1993 / 94), D. O'Sullivan Graphics Ltd., Best Student Award (1991).
He has had artist's residencies in Vermont, USA, (2010), Cill Rialaig Artist's Retreat, Co Kerry (1999 / 01 / 04) and Triskel Arts Centre studio residency, Cork (1999)
His work is in many Public collections including- AIB, Cork County Library Collection, UniCredito Italiano, IFSC, Crawford Municipal Art Collection, Cork, OPW, Office of Trade Enterprise and Employment, Stormont Govt. offices, Northern Ireland, Wellwoman Centre, IIC Bank, Nazareth House, Sligo, Hawkswell Theatre, Sligo, Leitrim County Council Art Collection, and Royal Hospital, Donnybrook.
His work is also included in private collections in Ireland, UK, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, USA and Australia.
